How Doon Minds collects, uses and protects your information.
1. Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, book a demo class or register as a tutor, we collect the information you choose to give us.
- Name of the student and/or parent
- Mobile number, WhatsApp number and email address
- Class, board, subjects and preferred mode of learning
- For tutors: qualifications, teaching experience, subjects, location and a CV
2. What we do not collect
We do not ask for, upload or store Aadhaar numbers, Aadhaar images, PAN cards, or any other government identity document — from students, parents or tutors. A tutor's CV is the only file our website accepts. If anyone asks you to send an identity document through this website, it is not us.
3. How we use your information
We use the information only to deliver and improve our services.
- To contact you about your enquiry and arrange a demo class
- To assign a suitable teacher and plan your classes
- To send service-related updates about your classes, tests and schedule
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
4. Payments
This website does not take payments. There is no card, UPI or net-banking form anywhere on it, and we hold no payment credentials of any kind. Course fees are agreed and paid offline, directly with our office.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary: with the teacher assigned to you, with service providers who host this website and our records, and where we are required to by law.
6. Data storage and security
Enquiry and registration records are stored in access-controlled Google Workspace accounts. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Write to doonmindshometuitionacademy@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
8. Cookies
This website uses only the cookies required for it to function correctly. If analytics or advertising cookies are added in future, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested where the law requires it.
9. Children's information
Our services are intended for school students, and enquiries are expected to be submitted by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has submitted information without parental consent, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
